Protecting the Pyrenees environment with Filtralite® Clean

Filtralite® Clean HR 3-6 has been installed in the first bio-filter stage of the Pas de la Casa Waste Water Treatment Plant (Andorra), replacing the old filter material to improve performance and reduce energy and water consumption.

In this bio-filter, Filtralite Clean is used for BOD removal in order to meet the demanding effluent standards due to the plant location in an environmentally sensitive area.

This bio-filter technology with Filtralite® saves money and space, avoiding odor generations and improving performance compared with other biological treatments in this amazing place in the Pyrenees.
